My husband is always telling me to grab some breakfast before I rush out the door in the morning. Recently is has been a cup of coffee and a banana. And I am hungry around 10 way before lunch time. So I found this pin on make ahead breakfast burritos. I though this would be a great idea. After getting the baby ready for the day, the older kid off to school and myself ready for work , I never will have time to fix a decent breakfast.
I just made 6 breakfast burritos. It took me about 30 mins from start to finish. I would have made more but I ran of shells. I used one dozen eggs and one sausage package. It would have made 9 maybe. 10 burritos if I had more shells. I haven't tried one yet after they where frozen so I will update on Monday after I had my first one.
Here is the link to pin I used to make them. http://pinterest.com/pin/177329304047995558/
Update- this is totally worth it. I had a weeks worth of breakfasts for husband and myself for $6. My husband suggested toasting the shells because he said they were a bit soggy. I thought they where fine.

Weight Watchers test
Hi everyone. I am going to be testing Weight Watchers ideas this week and will report on what I tired and what worked (or didnt work). I am not a member of watch watchers so I am just posting the points value according to the post from pinterest. I think this will be interesting. I understand the points value that WW have so I know if I see something that is extremely low or high, I wont try this. I have been wanting to try the roasted cauliflower snacks. They just look good in the picture and I love cauliflower. I am a huge veggie eater, not so much fruit so most of my post might be mostly veggies.

Mattress refresher
Use baking soda and some fragrant oil to make a quick refresher. I used fresh linen oil and sprinkled on my son's bed. He said it smelled like I washed it.

Easy truffles
The pinner said this was "most sinfully delicious treats ever!". They looked good in the picture as just about every pin does. They seem very simple. Cake mix, Sweetened milk, and chocolate to dip them in. How hard could it be and I LOVE truffles. I made these and they turned out horrible. They had no flavor to them at all. I did exactly as the pin said. I am glad I tired a small batch before making them for a function or something. The outside was chocolate so that was ok. But the inside just tasted like cake mix straight from the box. I was expecting something creamy or maybe fudge like. I might try to them again with maybe different flavor cake mix just to see if it was the plain vanilla cake mix that did these truffles in or if it was just a bad pin. I will update when I try again.

How to style curly hair
This pin describes my hair to the T. A mix of waves, curls and straight. I followed the tips and my hair was much tamer. It did not look as perfect as the picture but i was happy. I would recommend to anyone who just wants some body to your hair to try this tip.

Turn an old wipe container into a disposable bag container
This pin shows you how to roll up all those plastic bags into a neat container so you can just pull out a bag when you need it. If you are like me, you just wad up the bags into one bag until it is full and toss it under the sink. Well not any more. I have been trying to use the reusable bags from the store lately but I can always reuse the plastic bags I have and I have a lot of plastic bags that I use for trash bags in the car, to rebag things in the house like kid's clothes that do not fit any more, for gardening work, etc. I though it was going to take me forever to roll up the bags but I realized after I got started, it was not going to take me long at all. The instructions on this pin is easy to follow and it does work. Just do not roll the bags to tight or when you pull them out, they will all try to come out. I am sure you can also use baby wipe containers but I just recently emptied a container just like the pin so I use that.

4 ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
These peanut butter cookies are the best!!!!!! My husband ask me all the time to make them. When I do make them, they do not last more than a day in my house. One batch is kind of small. It makes about 12 small cookies but I usually double the ingredients and make 24 cookies instead. They are soft, and super easy to make.
1 cup peanut butter,
1 cup sugar,
1 egg,
1 teaspoon vanilla.
Bake 350 degrees at 10 min. (do not bake at a high temp, these cookies burn easily)

Eggs for breakfast sandwiches! Bake at 350 for 15 mins and they keep in the fridge for a week.
The pin says they keep in the fridge for a week. I tried to make these eggs in a muffin pan like the directions said. When they are fresh and just out of the oven, they are good. But if you save them to use for a week, they turn soggy and they do not taste so good the next day. My son liked them but I did not. It is a good idea when you have to make a huge breakfast for company.

bacon, egg, and cheese wrapped in crescent roll dough: easy weekend breakfast
I tired this early on when I first joined Pinterest. I had just had my baby girl and I wanted something that would fill up my son in the morning and of course it had to have bacon and cheese in it. Those are two of his fave foods. I found the wrapping of the crescent dough to be a little messy but I am sure with practice, I could roll it out to look just like the picture. When I make it again (and I know I will be making it again), I will take a picture to show you how mine turned it. I will say, it did turn out just how the pin says it would.

Welcome
Hi Everyone. Welcome to the new blog that I have decided to create. I decided to create this blog because I have reached over 1000 pins on Pinterest. I have tried several pins and likes most and failed at some. I figure that there is others out that might pin but never actually get to use the pins. I am posting about all the pins that I have tried, either good or bad and give my option on how it turned out. I work full time as a systems administrator/network tech and have two children and a husband of 15 years so they are my testers too. I will be trying a lot of children/teen, party, food and drink, home decor, gardening and arts and craft ideas. Since I work in the IT industry, I will also be posting about some really interesting gadgets that I will possible order if the price is not too high to test. (no one man sub for me at $99,999 however) I have discovered a lot of really good ideas on pinterest and some of them just seem to be to good to be true. If you have wondered about how an idea turns out or find a pin that you would like to forward to me, I would be happy to take a look at it and try it out. I will post pictures of how my experience went as well as the link to the pin I am testing. So happy pinning!
